Rethink Homelessness

Eagle Tech Academy students ended the school year with a celebration day, highlighting their efforts from their Rethink Homelessness project. This focus gave students a chance to understand the reality of homelessness in our community and then challenged them to come up with ways to support The Lighthouse and its mission. You can read more about Eagle Tech's project at eagletechacademy.wix.com/rethinkhomelessness.

Thank you to all who joined us in celebrating The Lighthouse Interfaith Mission's 15 year anniversary!

It was a great time to look back at how we started and to look forward to where we want to go.

The night was full of fun, food, reminiscing and Hannah Schaefer's performace was spectacular!

Your support and attendance raised more than $5,000 for The Lighthouse! Thank you!!!

Volunteers were honored for their dedication and service and included:

  • Esther Smith

  • Deb DeWitt

  • Julia Berry

  • Gayla Cox

For their original vision and creation of The Lighthouse, Jan Boggs and Grace Lotter were honored.

For Outstanding Volunteerism, Phyllis Crace was applauded. Phyllis has diligently scrapbooked each newsletter, photo and newspaper clipping featuring The Lighthouse.
